Mary earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Rush University (2021), following her master’s degree in nursing from Rush (2015) and bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Miami University (2012). In addition, Mary furthered her training through Rush’s Opioid Use Disorder Treatment Fellowship ECHO Program as well as completed training in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I).
“I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing your concerns, and being honest about what is and isn’t working. Taking time to understand your experiences and what matters most to you is an essential part of care. Together, we can explore treatment options and create a practical plan that supports your mental health and fits your life. My goal is for you to feel heard, informed, and supported throughout the process.”
-Dr. Mary Freeman
