Meet Mary Dwire
LSW
We all travel our own unique journey through life. I am here to assist in unlocking your positive attributes, strengths and abilities while assisting you in getting relief from symptoms that are disrupting your quality of life. Together we can work to heal the underlying causes of your issues and give you back the ability to live your life.
I have worked with a wide spectrum of clients and situations including young adults through adult and older adult populations. I have experience in a variety of settings. I utilize evidence based practices including trauma focused cognitive behavioral techniques, dialectic behavioral techniques, somatic therapy and art therapy. And work with you to strive to unlock the best person you can be.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Therapy from Ohio University and my Master’s degree in Counseling from The University of Cincinnati in 1994. You know yourself best. I would be honored to hear your story, listen to your goals, and work with you to gain the knowledge and tools to improve your overall well-being. Working with my clients to find the most appropriate methods of treatment for them, has led to the most positive results. When you are ready, please reach out. I would love to work with you.
