Meet Jen Kroell
LPC
I believe healing happens in relationship. I view clients as the experts of their own lives and strive to create a safe, affirming space for exploration and growth. With a decade of experience in Special Education—where individualization is essential—my person-centered approach to counseling is both well-practiced and deeply rooted.
Supporting individuals facing barriers to living authentic, fulfilling lives is my greatest passion. I offer not only emotional support but also practical resources and access to tools that foster empowerment.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of concerns, most often including anxiety, depression, executive dysfunction, relationship issues, and trauma. Healing is a process that takes significant time, and I encourage a gentle yet consistent pace in our work together. Through a blend of open-ended inquiry, perspective-taking, cognitive behavioral strategies, and genuine self compassion, I aim to build a strong therapeutic foundation—one that nurtures awareness, curiosity, regulation, and resilience.
Collaboratively, we can develop a personalized toolbox to help you navigate the natural ebbs and flows of life.
Finding a therapist who aligns with your specific needs is necessary for meaningful progress. My current therapeutic modalities include:
● Person-centered, strengths-focused therapy
● Trauma-responsive care
● Mindfulness and somatic practices
● Values-based work
● Creative expression and art therapy techniques
Life can be challenging. I am here to help. It would be my honor to support you on a long-term journey or for just a short season in time. Please feel free to reach out so we can explore your unique interests and goals—together.
