Meet Emmalee Mackey
LSW
You are welcome here.
I’m honored to be considered as part of your journey through the challenges you face. I believe that every person deserves the most fulfilling life where they are seen, heard, and can find deep satisfaction and happiness.
First and foremost, I prioritize creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and comfortable space. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches including EMDR therapy, attachment theory, internal family systems (IFS), writing, and mindfulness. I also offer walk and talk sessions in a local park or walking paths. I enjoy working with clients who are open to the healing powers of humor—therapy is hard work but we can also have some fun. In our work together, I will meet you where you are and help you find empowerment and self-compassion to handle whatever life has in store for you.
I received my Master of Social Work in 2022 from the University of Cincinnati and my bachelor’s in education and social policy from Northwestern University in 2016. I have worked in special education, early childhood education, and private practice.
